Board the Bora cruiser in St. Mark’s area (1). Cruise around the south-east part of Venice towards the Island of Certosa (2), an authentic oasis of peace whose peculiar vegetation is a significant environmental heritage. Pass by the cultivated island of Le Vignole (3). Arrive to the typical salt marshes of Sant’Erasmo (4), the vegetable garden of Venice that offers some well-known specialties such as the “carciofo violetto” (violet artichoke). This island is extremely important to the ecology of the lagoon as it encourages water exchange, moderates wave action and hosts a flourishing vegetation. The cruise will continue towards the Northern Lagoon, house to fish farms and the villages of Treporti (5), Lio Piccolo (6), Lio Maggiore (7) and Le Mesole (8).
